A252 Universal Power Tool Tester

A versatile portable test set to suite the latest recommendations for effective electrical safety testing of Office Equipment, Power Tools and Appliances.

  • Earth Bond Tests: 25A, 8a and 100mA with meter indication.
  • Flash Tests - for Class II products: at 3750V, 3000V and 2500V.
    for Class I products: at 1250V or 500V.
  • Flash Trip Levels: 5mA and 10mA.
  • Flash Test Status Indication: by Pass/Fail lamps.
  • DC Insulation Resistance: Meter indication 0 to 100 Megohms at 500V DC.

Unit supplied complete with 240V and 110V Test Sockets, Earth Return Clip Lead, Safety Probe and Fault Simulator. Unit housed in a Robust steel case. 210mm (L) x 140mm (H) x 250mm (D)
 

Test Log Book
With today's emphasis on traceability, and to conform to Health & safety Work Guidelines, it is important to keep test records on the unit under test. To satisfy this requirement, Clare Instruments has developed a Test Log System to provide a ready means for creating and maintaining a test history for each appliance. A complimentary Test Log pack is supplied with each new A252 power tool tester.

The pack contains Instructions, Guidance Notes, Log Sheets and both TESTED and FAILED labels.
