B255 Power Tool Safety
Tester The B255 is a
compact tester that allows numerous tests applicable to the
Hire Industry.
The unit will apply high current earth continuity test, high
voltage flash test, load/run test and earth leakage test on
both 240 volt and 110 volt power tools and similar equipment.
The testing with the B255 will ensure
compliance with British and European Standards for both
earthed Class I products, three and double insulated Class II
products as given in BS2769, BS EN60335 I, BS EN50144 and BS
EN61029.
- Earth Continuity: 25A
through 0.1 ohm from an 8 volt source (indicated on colour
coded meter).
- Flash Test Voltage: Class
I: 500V or 1250V AC.
Class II: 3000V or 3750V AC.
- Flash Test Limits: Class I:
5 or 10mA, Class II: 5mA.
- Load Run Test: Ammeter 0 to
25A and 0 to 2.5A at supply voltage.
- Test Sockets: Via UK 13A
BS4343 240V 16A and BS4343 110V 16A.
