Calibration Check Unit
The V242 Calibration Check
Unit is intended for on-site verification of the standard
range of Clare test stations and stand-alone core testers. It
is recommended that this instrument is returned to a Clare
service depot for an annual re-calibration.
- Earth Resistance: @ 90, 115, 450,
575 milliohms (calibration limits ±5%).
- Flash Test: @ 0 to 5000 Volts a.c.
and 0 to 2500 Volts d.c. (calibration limits ±1.5%).

Insulation
Resistance: @ 100K, 200K, 400K, 1M, 2M, 5M, 10M, 20M, 50M
and 100Mohm. (calibration limits ±1% except 50M and 100M
±4%) .
The flash trip value of 5 milliamps can be checked by using
the 200K resistance value, which when 1000 volts is applied
will induce a current flow of 5mA.
