Electrical insulation, as found in generators, circuit breakers, surge arrestors, bushings and transformers come in all three states of matter: liquid (such as mineral oil), solid (such as cellulosic paper and porcelain) and gas (such as air and SF6). Once the equipment is placed in service, it is subjected to a wide range of adverse environmental and operational conditions which over time could cause deterioration of the insulation.

Megger power factor test sets accurately measure power factor, even in hostile environments such as transformer stations, energized switchyards and production floors.

DELTA-2000 10-kV Automated Insulation Power Factor Test Set
This fully automatic test set has been designed to provide a comprehensive AC insulation diagnostic test for high voltage apparatus, such as transformers, bushings, circuit breakers, cables, lightning arrestors and rotating machinery.

Semi-Automatic Capacitance and Dissipation Factor Test Sets
Two models of capacitance and dissipation factor test sets are available: one for measuring dielectric losses at test voltages up to 2.5 kV, the other up to 12 kV.

Resonating Inductor
The Resonating Inductor is an accessory for use with the semi-automatic 12 kV Extended-Range Capacitance and Dissipation Factor Test Set or the Automated Insulation Power Factor Test Set (DELTA-2000).
